Every great company starts with a “what if” moment.
For Caiator, it happened when I met with former colleagues and we started talking about the same challenge we had all faced for decades: handling complex product data and finding the right information to create accurate customer quotes. The problem had not changed in 20 years. And then the idea came. “What if industrial parts suppliers had an AI-powered agent that could do the work for them, always available, knowledgeable, and fully focused on driving sales success?”
Having spent decades in industry and international sales, I knew how much time and energy was used on handling part requests. Valuable employees were spending hours searching databases when their skills could be used to grow the business and build stronger customer relationships. We decided to change that without disrupting existing systems or workflows.
Building the solution
Together with my co-founders, Tiago Martines, our brilliant CTO, and Ricky Fasshauer, who brings deep user experience expertise, we set out to build Caiator.
The vision was clear: an intelligent, AI-powered sales agent that helps industrial suppliers work smarter, serve customers instantly, and unlock sales opportunities they might otherwise miss.
From Idea to Proof
This spring has been an exciting one. We have been meeting potential customers and putting our concept to the test. The feedback has been incredibly encouraging as customers immediately recognize the pain point we are solving.
Most importantly, with early traction from paying customers and live installations, we now know our solution works in the real world. It is no longer just an idea. It is a product delivering real value.
Opening Our First Funding Round
We are proud to officially open our first funding round. Our goal is to finance Caiator’s growth journey, scaling to more customers, expanding capabilities, and taking a strong position in the global industrial parts market.
Why Now
The timing is right. Suppliers face increasing pressure to digitalize. AI is moving fast, but companies need applied solutions that solve real problems today. We have proven traction and are ready to scale.
